Galantamine to be developed as nerve agent antidote

In previous posts here and here I mentioned the Alzheimer’s drug galantamine’s rather amazing effect as a nerve agent antidote, even several minutes after exposure to soman. How long, I’ve wondered, before this highly effective countermeasure is developed for military use? And the wait is over:
