BTW, I went with the offspring to see X-Men III today. Mostly, the reviews were right. It is just a string of fights patched together without much of a script. [...]

Seen on Boing Boing. This is great, a gas mask from 1935 with a big face shield that allows the typist to see well for typing.

Well, I don’t really know about the easy part. But it’s really cheap, according to the Sydney, Australia company Silex (named after the process of “Separation of Isotopes by Laser Excitation”), which claims to have developed a separation technique involving streaming uranium through lasers tuned to a frequency that only “sees” the U-235 atoms.
